Job Title: Multimedia Illustrator
Summary
Seeking experienced Multimedia Illustrators to create high-quality visual information products in support of Product Manager Integrated Warrior (PdM IW) programs and projects. The team will produce Microsoft PowerPoint illustrations, layouts, map overlays, posters, graphs/charts, videos, and other graphics that explain complex ideas for program management reviews, program events, public affairs, and training functions.Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce multimedia illustrations and visual products (PowerPoint, layouts, map overlays, posters, graphs, charts, and videos) aligned to PdM IW branding and accessibility standards.
- Translate complex technical and programmatic concepts into clear, compelling visuals for leadership and stakeholder communications (PMRs, data calls, OAGs, IPRs, fielding events, training, and public affairs).
- Develop production-quality videos including storyboarding, motion graphics, titling, and final renders; manage source media and edit timelines.
- Ensure all products are compatible with Government IT systems and software and conform to security/marking requirements.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and logisticians to gather requirements and iterate on drafts through final approval.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or related field; or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years creating professional-grade graphics and multimedia for technical or defense/government programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) or equivalent.
- Experience producing motion graphics and editing production-quality videos (storyboarding, audio sweetening, color correction, exports).
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into simple, accurate visuals with a strong sense of layout, typography, and data visualization.
- Experience working within SharePoint for content management, collaboration, and version control.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks; strong client-service and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition artifacts and program communications (PMRs, IPRs, OAGs).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and translating outputs into briefings.
- Familiarity with OPSEC and information marking/handling in a government environment.
Clearance / Work Authorization
- U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Work Location: Onsite/Hybrid per Government direction
- Work Hours: Standard business hours; occasional surge/off-hours to meet critical deadlines
- Travel: Minimal; as required for events/fielding
This position is contingent upon winning award
Salary Range - $75,000 to $85,000 (Based on experience)
