Master Scheduler
POSITION - Master Scheduler
JOB REQUIREMENTS/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate shall have project scheduling experience, particularly an understanding of scheduling techniques and terms such as Critical Path Method, Gantt charts, and crashing. This position requires complex interactions between a variety of stakeholders. The Scheduler will:
- Organize and facilitate project planning activities within multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
- Develop and maintain a large and complex Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) through interactions with members of the IPTs.
- Status the IMS via recurring interactions with members of the IPTs.
- Provide timely schedule performance reporting to support decisions at various levels of the project organization.
- Facilitate the controlled change of schedule baselines including analysis, communication and documentation.
- Participate and provide input into leadership reviews, briefings, and other program-related events.
- Document and improve maturity of customer’s management processes
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Five (5) years of experience in program scheduling, project management, engineering management, DoD acquisition, or another related subject of comparable complexity and responsibility
- Eligible for DoD Secret Clearance
- Mandatory expertise with Microsoft Project or other similar program management scheduling tools
- Ability to collaboratively lead project planning and scheduling meetings with any variation of project team participants
- Experience with OnePager Pro or other schedule reporting tools is strongly desired
- Strong attention to detail to understand and manipulate thousands of task entries
- Ability to translate plain language to discrete tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) is strongly desired
Salary Range - $85,000 to $100,000
