Position Requirements/Primary Responsibilities:  The Program/Project Manager I and II support Program Executive Office (PEO) Digital for Infrastructure Services (IS) projects with aligned Government Service Owners. The primary day-to-day responsibilities are managing information technology related infrastructure projects from cradle-to-grave including cost, schedule, and performance. These roles support the development of statements of objectives (SOO) to meet Government requirements and support the review of vendor proposals within infrastructure services project areas. A focus of these roles includes reporting on project metrics to clients and working as part of a cross-functional team to delivery infrastructure solutions. These projects are managed using a combination of traditional project management and Agile methodology.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent·
  • 5 (minimum for Level I) to 10 (minimum for Level II) years of demonstrated experience in DoD Program/Project Management for ACAT programs across the acquisition lifecycle
  • Experience with the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) lifecycle and information technology operations
  • Experience with planning, scheduling, coordinating, and delivering IT projects
  • Experience with developing program baselines and identifying program risks
  • Knowledge of technical concepts, best practices, and developing client solutions while anticipating, mitigating, and resolving risks and conflicts across workstreams
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow is desired
  • SAFe Program Consultant and Training Coordinator Certifications are desired

Skills and Abilities:  
  • Possess working experience of the acquisition processes and policies as outlined in the DoD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02 and SECNAVINST 5000.2
  • Experience with Agile Methodology providing strategic and operational support associated with procuring Information Technology (IT) systems and services
  • Possess the capability to perform tasks which involve tracking risk and providing constant status or process oversight.
  • Possess an ability to independently manage, synchronize, and track multiple, complex, and cross‐functional actions
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing and analytical skills to effectively interact both orally and in writing, among a variety of audiences at executive and program levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Project, Excel, and SharePoint
  • SECRET Clearance required
(Salary Range – 65K to 115K)
